Like all Body Geometry shoes, the Recon 3.0 is ergonomically designed and scientifically validated to enhance comfort, boost performance, and reduce the risk of injury for every rider. Research has confirmed that its patented technology improves power output by 7 watts.
Stride technology provides a flexible outsole and upper around the toe box, paired with a stiff cleat pocket. This design allows the shoe to flex comfortably when walking while maintaining stiffness and efficiency when pedaling.
The Recon 3.0 incorporates lace routing, BOA® dial placement, and a carbon plate directly from our premium S-Works Recon. The BOA® Fit System, featuring dual-dial Li2, offers micro-adjustable, multi-directional precision fitting for enhanced performance. Additionally, the carbon plate keeps the Recon 3.0 lightweight and rigid, optimizing power output on the pedal while reducing weight by 10 grams compared to its predecessor.
